At the Auto Expo 2025, BMW India unveiled the iX1 Long Wheelbase (LWB), the brand’s first locally assembled electric vehicle, priced at ₹49 lakh (ex-showroom). Positioned as a game-changer in the luxury EV market, the iX1 LWB combines the practicality of an SUV with cutting-edge technology, marking a significant milestone in BMW's commitment to sustainable mobility.
The iX1 LWB is a stretched iteration of the X1, with a 112mm longer wheelbase, giving it a commanding road presence and the largest interior space in its class. At 4,616mm long, it offers unparalleled comfort and versatility. The exterior sports BMW’s signature kidney grille with a mesh pattern, slim adaptive LED headlights, and 3D LED taillights, complemented by 18-inch M Sport alloys.
Buyers can choose from five stunning metallic colors, including Mineral White, M Portimao Blue, and Sparkling Copper Grey, further enhancing its sophisticated appeal.
Step inside, and the iX1 LWB greets you with a meticulously crafted cabin featuring premium materials like Veganza perforated leatherette upholstery in Mocha.
